Unbound Recovery was founded to meet the rising need for eating disorder care in Kansas. We provide dedicated, expert support to individuals struggling with eating disorders or those who experience known risk factors of eating disorders such as chronic dieting, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
An eating disorder is a mental health condition characterized by abnormal eating habits that negatively affect a person's physical and mental well-being. Research shows that 9 out of 10 people struggle with body dissatisfaction and 1 out of 10 are diagnosed with an eating disorder in their lifetime. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental health condition. However, we believe healing is possible.
We understand that seeking help can be scary and difficult. Unbound Recovery works closely with patients, their families, and health care professionals to create individualized and wrap-around treatment plans. Our staff of licensed mental health professionals and registered dieticians is dedicated to meeting each patient exactly where he/she is at and walking with them toward healing and lasting recovery.
