Lauren is educated on and experienced in trauma counseling. She has worked with both adults and children working through trauma, emphasizing the development of safety, emotional resilience, and empowered coping skills. Lauren's further trauma training includes basics of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- Trauma and Play Therapy approaches. She has worked in a community mental health setting supporting children, teens, and adults as they navigate a wide range of trauma‑related challenges.
Background also includes extensive work with neurodivergent individuals. Particularly autistic children and teens, through roles in an autism clinic and public school settings. Lauren hopes to use her background in trauma‑focused care, neurodiversity support, and community mental health to help individuals feel safe, seen, supported, and empowered in their healing at their own pace.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys walks with her dog, running, video games, camping, game nights with friends, and spending time with family. She brings warmth, humor, and authenticity into her relationships and values creating meaningful moments both personally and professionally.
